Why should we have a blogging platform?
Ever been searching hours for a guide that someone wrote several years ago? Information about a product that has been hidden deep in our databases?
I wish for this blog to be an enhancement to the documentation storage system we have, as a searchable catalogue of useful information through product news, important guides, tips and tricks. The blogs should still refer to tracking numbers or documents and project.
In WordPress we can better control search terms, tags and categories. It is easy to get into and make compelling websites through the online graphical editors, no coding necessary.
As soon as this blog grows to be big enough, it will be possible to convince the IT department host this internally, where we will be able to freely and efficiently share our knowledge with each other.
